See, I found that we were wasting CDRs because we kept burning files onto a disk for the computer repairs, So I had the bright (but obvious) idea to collect all of our most used programs and downloads onto disc to save time and money. I got the idea for the name Must Have from an Old OS/2 program download site called www.musthave.com. Must have has evolved over the years, (Stuff like the win95 winsock update is no longer on it because, well, If you're using 95, you got bigger problems than a winsock update.) I can't take credit for everything, as various people have contributed to the collection, adding and recommending things I should put on it.
Del and DSE Computers, who have contributed plenty of blank cdrs and hard drive storage space. Marcus, who dubbed the disc "Dale's Damned Magical Must Have" Damnation? I don't know why he condemned the collection to Hell... Ryan, who really stepped up and maintained our in house copy of the Must Have Tool Disc. The shop copy includes several licensed utilities that we just can't give away to customers. Brad, who introduced me to the 3dmark test back when it was called Mad Onion Raul, who told me about the Bazooka utility which saved my neck once or twice. Paul, Who gave me the idea for the domain name. Mike, Marshall, Tim, and I'm sure other people I'm forgetting, all helped make the collection what it is today. Dale Alling |
